Her play EAST COLFAX was a 2015 O’Neill Finalist and an Honorable Mention on the Kilroy’s of the same year. In 2014 she was a Walter E. Dakin Playwriting Fellow at the Sewanne Writers’ Conference, respectfully.
Her play Helping People was developed with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, IRT, Dutch Kills Theater and was a 2013 O’Neill Semi-Finalist. East Colfax has been developed with The New Group and Rising Phoenix Rep. Her newest play The Drill was developed with The New Group and Stable Cable Lab Co. Other plays include Associations of Hip produced by the Overturn Theater Ensemble and Brain with Turpentine read at IRT and Dixon Place. She is currently working on an audio // video project on road trips.
As an actor she’s worked // developed new plays with Rattlestick
Playwrights Theater, MCC, the LARK, Urban Stages, StrangeMen & Co, and more. She made her NY stage debut in Crystal Skillman’s play WILD, as Nikki.
She was one of three literary associates at Rattlestick Playwrights Theater from 2010-2012. During which time Annie Baker’s The Aliens was produced along with Adam Rapp’s Hallway Trilogies, David Adjmi’s 3C, Daniel Talbott’s Yosemite amongst others. She’s run readings of new plays by Craig Lucas, David Bar Katz, Courtney Baron, Ayad Akhtar and more. She also assisted Heidi Schreck & Suzanne Vega.
Day jobs have included front desk at the former TriBeCa event // rehearsal space Space on White, copy writer for the website firm RampUp Interactive, and nannying for various 1% families.
Diana’s parents are meditation teachers and she often contemplates organic matter…
