Last Sunday my play HELPING PEOPLE was read as part of Rattlestick Playwrights Theater’s F*cking Good Plays Festival.
Melissa Chambers directed the reading with Keilly McQuail, Elizabeth Spano, Mary Jane Gibson, Daniel Abeles, Micah Stock, and Julia Lawler as our faithful actors.
What I love most about Rattlestick is their commitment to producing, developing, and moonlighting brave new plays from writers you know and writers you don’t. Each time you step into that dusty theater you feel the breadth of stories, characters, people, and love that gets pumped in there all day. Every day. Their devotion to the American Theatre astounds me. Only monks are this devoted! If you’re free tonight or tomorrow you should check out the rest of the readings in this remarkable festival.
If not check out future plays, F*cking Good Plays, TheaterJams, all of it is worth it.
Stay tuned to the future of HELPING PEOPLE here.
